Horse stewardship funds ensures that our beloved four-legged friends serving charitable purposes at Carlisle Academy and partner programs nationwide are responsibly cared for, including daily care, stable and farm management, and schoolmaster acquisition, endowment, and retirement assistance.
Our horses support all equine programs, including:
- Equine-assisted learning for individuals and groups
- FarmWELL, a wellness program for adults
- Subsidized recreational riding programs
- Leadership development and youth empowerment experiences
- Para-dressage programs and clinics
- Hippotherapy in partnership with Play and Prosper Therapy, PLLC.
- Mobile mini horse visits in partnership with Impact Horse, a Maine-based 501(c)3
Everyday our horses care for individuals with disabilities, women in recovery, survivors of domestic abuse, veterans, older adults, those with cancer, and youth of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.
