Training and Leadership Impact

Training and leadership funds support students and practitioners with professional education and industry learning through leadership development initiatives and internships, training programs and clinics, capstone research and academic fieldwork, and service-learning experiences.

Since 2011, Carlisle Academy has worked with over 200 students from a wide scope of majors including occupational therapy, psychology, equine-assisted therapy, business, and environmental science working in active collaboration with Duke University, Northeastern University, University of New Hampshire, University of New England, and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Students have created adaptive technology to help blind riders independently navigate the arena, built a mud kitchen in our nature classroom, developed farm and nature-based curriculum, and added to our vibrant community in so many other ways!

Training and Leadership funding also supports workforce development, vocational programs for individuals with disabilities, and service-learning opportunities for youth and adults.
